Explore new coffee shops in your area
The Grounds is a personal project that I created to experiment with visual and user interactions. There is definitely a story behind it and a little research. Since I am a big coffee lover I wanted to work on something that would allow me to locate coffee shops nearby.
I put myself in a user position, trying to understand why I would use the app, what value could it bring to me and so on. The main idea for the app could have value in supporting local coffee shops. Everyone has their own favorite local coffee shop, which aren't necessarily familiar to other people. Connecting local coffee shops could provide users with specific informations, offers, photos and feedback, even use the customer loyalty cards.
